ABOUT THAI FOOD
Thai food is internationally famous. Whether chili-hot or comparatively mild, harmony is the guiding principle behind each dish.Thai cuisine is essentially a marriage of centuries-old Eastern and Western influences combined into something uniquely Thai.
TYPICAL COMPONENTS OF A THAI MEAL
Appetizers : Included in this category are spring rolls, satay with herbed topping, and fish cakes. They represent the playful and creative nature of the Thai culture.
Salad : A blend of tastes and herbal flavors are essential, major tastes are sweet, sour, and tangy. Spiciness comes in different degrees according to meat textures and occasions.
General Fare : Sweet and sour dishes, a fluffy omelette, and stir-fried dishes all help make a meal more complete.
Dipping Sauces : A particularly popular and simple dip is made from chilies, garlic, lime juice, and fish sauce.
Soup : Traditional Thai soups are unique because they embody more flavors and textures that cannot be found in other types of food.
Curries : Thai curries consist of fresh herbs. More complex curries contain ingredients such as garlic, galanga, coriander roots, lemongrass, kaffir leaves, lime peels, and coconut milk.
Single Dishes : Complete meals in themselves, the entrées may be rice or noodle dishes.
Desserts : No good meal is complete without a Thai dessert. Uniformly sweet, they often come after a distinctively spiced and herbed meal.
We hope that you enjoy the experience of a Thai meal and return to explore our cuisine.
